Banish addictions and compulsive behaviours with Hypnotherapy

Where you’re at…
You feel your addiction is running away with you and taking over your life. It is impacting your work, health, family, social life, and your finances. You are desperate to do something about it, but you can’t do it on your own.
The problems you have right now…
Addictions come in many guises. You might have an addiction to:

  • Smoking
  • Drugs (prescription or illegal)
  • Alcohol
  • Gambling
  • Food (including anorexia and bulimia)
  • Sex
  • Mobile phones and social media
  • Compulsive behaviours
What you need help with right now…
What would help you right now is to understand what is driving your addiction and whether it is subconsciously linked to past events: negative messages, thoughts and beliefs that are held deep in the subconscious.
When you have established when your addiction started (whether there was just one event or several linked events) you will need an experienced therapist to help you heal the emotional damage that has been caused, and to help you cut the negative ties that your subconscious mind has linked to these problem events, which has resulted in the use of drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, food, or in other types of addictive and destructive behaviours.
How I can help you banish addictions and compulsive behaviours
We will start with a taster session to understand where you are now and what you would like to achieve. I will explain how the mind works, how the conscious and subconscious minds work together, and how things that get ‘stuck’ in our subconscious mind can have a significant effect on our lives.

Early in the course of treatment I will use hypnoanalysis techniques that will allow your subconscious mind to identify events in your life that have contributed to your current addiction in some way. Every consultation will include a hypnosis session specifically tailored to your needs.

Through hypnosis positive changes can occur in your subconscious mind to reveal those deeply held beliefs and experiences that are at the core of the emotional anguish you are experiencing. By addressing these issues and acknowledging the addiction you remove the obstacles to recovery. Once your subconscious mind has indicated there is nothing to hold you back, I will use suggestion therapy to engage your mind in a constructive way, so you can learn to live each day addiction free.
